Establishing a norm through which children can enjoy playtime without the use of materials that cause damage to the environment and their health starts with the choices we make on their behalf.
As a caring adult with a desire to protect the environment and preserve the innocence of children, I pledge to:
refrain from giving any child under the age of four a plastic plaything
choose toys made of non-plastic, environmentally friendly materials when purchasing for and gifting to children under the age of four
As our movement grows, and the children blessed to have enjoyed this plastic-free playscape mature, the talents, resources, imagination and good karma of its founding members will come together to creatively displace the plastic items that foul our economy and environment.
